This activity is now de-bugged. The problem with the red just after Duisberg Hbf seems to have been tied to a service running ahead of the driver's train and which terminated at DU-Rheinhausen. This service was replaced with one that terminated at D-Reisholz and that solved the problem. A couple of new services from Wanne-Eickel to give more traffic through Oberhausen were not successful, just for the record (in other words, the activity crashed a few minutes after leaving the Oberhausen sidings).

Here are some timings that web•TrainSim recorded: Oberhausen platform 0669, Duisberg 0711, DU-Rheinhausen 0726, Krefeld 0750, Viersen 0807, Monchengladbach 0818.

Normal RB33 service, the Rhein-Niers-Bahn, Monchengladbach Hbf to Oberhausen Hbf, departing 0608.

Traffic into Duisberg and Oberhausen has been re-timed and a couple of new services on the Viersen to DU-Rheinhausen section have been added (as of 23-Apr-2006).

Here are times recorded by web•TrainSim (from the updated service): Viersen 0617, Krefeld 0637, KR-Uerdingen 0652, DU-Rheinhausen 0704, Duisberg 0720, Oberhausen 0731.

WARNING: Because of the spacing between signals between Monchengladbach and Krefeld, you need to carefully watch for a red after Viersen.

Note: If you're going to use the BR 146 loco, DB_146_106-0.zip (09-Jul-04, 1.43Mb), you need to change the brake settings - see the E146 electric loco section in Small Fixes 17.
